Impulse buy oooops

I've been on a mission to find the perfect black blazer. I was excited to find one at forever 21 because it was only $22.00 but it was sold out in black. So I just found a T by Alexander Wang one at nordstrom on sale for $64.00 and it was just tempting....

Ughhh I'm so soar I feel like an old person that can't get up once they lay down. I shoveled a little path from the door to the end of the deck yesterday and now my arms are killing...either that snow was extremely heavy or I am extremely weak. I think it's a combination of both. I also ran at like 10:00 last night. And now my crippled mother is making me take the dogs for a walk in the freezing cold with over a foot of snow on the ground. Sorry dogs this is going to be a short walk 

Blizzard

So there's supposed to be a blizzard today which means everyone in town flocked to the grocery stores and gas stations like the world is ending. Stocking up on bread and milk like our food sources will be cut off and we will all starve if we are stuck in side for a day. I'll never understand this phenomenon because we live in New england where we get at least one storm like this every winter so everyone should be used to it by now. Who knows maybe this will be the storm of the century and I will be starving in my house unable to even open the door because of the 5 foot snow drifts. 

But for now I'm just sitting here being bored I hate being trapped!

God Jul

Another Christmas eve past...the same in a lot of ways and always a little bit different and by that I mean something weirder than the previous year happens during family dinner. Of course there was so much delicious food and too much of it made it's way into my tummy (but I do not regret that white chocolate mousse cake) and then tomorrow we're going to my grandma's house to do it all over again! Christmas is a time of year full of tradition (and chaos) and  there's something comforting about the holiday routine. I can always expect there to be screaming kids, way too much food for the number of people, and for my family to be crazy and loud.
My grandma got me this duvet cover for college from urban outfitters because I needed a twin size one..it's so cute I can't wait to use it!

Now I'm exhausted I feel like today has been the longest day ever. I'm going to go to sleep and wait for santa to come..actually I'm pretty sure I can hear santa downstairs already.

Thingsss

I feel like christmas snuck up really fast this year tomorrow is already christmas eve eve...yes the day before christmas eve. Let me just say that Christmas eve is my favorite day of the year. I still feel like I have a lot to get done but I think I'm just stressing myself out. One of the presents I ordered has mysteriously not arrived so I'm praying it gets here tomorrow. I have nothing to do tomorrow so I think I'll bake christmas related things and listen to christmas music and festive things like that so I start to feel like it's actually christmas...(a little snow would help)

Hmm what happened in my life today...well I worked a long shift which I thought I would never get through but here I am still alive and not mentally or emotionally scarred. I have to say the worst part was when the whole front of target started smelling like tuna. It didn't just faintly smell of tuna it was like someone has opened a can of it and threw it in your face...it was absolutely disgusting and I was on the verge of puking.No one could figure out where it was coming from but it was a terrible experience. So moral of the story don't come to target..if the amount of khaki and red doesn't already make you nauseous the unexplainable rotten tuna smell will.
